What is time in spirituality?

What is time?

We can divide the time into two categories:

  1. Subjective time(Psychological time)
  2. Objective time(Chronological time)

1. Subjective time(Psychological time): The time that runs in our mind is called Psychological time which is past, present and future. This time is ‘me’ centric and linked to memory. But from a spiritual point of view, there is always the present moment.

2. Chronological time: The time which is according to the clock and nature is called chronological time. It is a measurement of change in the state of any form in space. Everything in this nature is continuously changing. But if there is something in this universe that is not changing then that is beyond time or untouched by time. This realm is connected to spirituality.

Time in spirituality:

From a spiritual point of view, there is always the present moment. The ‘now’ contains all the ‘time’. There is no past and future.
